The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to engage in policy analysis, advocacy and policy-making. Course Objectives CO 2: Use critical-thinking skills to integrate multiple sources of knowledge, data, and research to analyze social welfare policies. Requirements and Guidelines Position Paper: Submit a three- to five-page paper that compares health care coverage for elderly Americans to that of another country. What are the advantages or disadvantages to how our health care system serves its older citizens compared to the country you have chosen? Which system would you change and why What would you recommend to improve it? This assignment is worth 300 points and will be graded on use of citations, use of Standard English grammar, sentence structure, and overall organization based on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria/rubric. Create your exercise using Microsoft Word (a part of Microsoft Office), which is the required format for all Chamberlain College documents. You can tell that the document is saved as a MS Word document because it will end in “.docx” Follow the directions and grading criteria closely. The length of the exercise is to be no less than four pages and no greater than six pages excluding title page and reference pages. APA format is required with both a title page and reference page.
