Gettysburg Address
You will be writing and submitting an analytic response to Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address.” What to do: For this assignment, you will write an Analytic Response to Lincoln’s “The Gettysburg Address” using three types of responses that are explained in the Critical Reading: Three Types of Responses doc (Content, Analytic, and Style Comparison Response). Read the following attachments: ENG 100 – Lincoln’s “The Gettysburg Address” – Critical Reading: Three Types of Responses ENG 100 Sample Summary, Analysis, Comparison Analysis Paragraphs 3. Then, write a critical analysis of Lincoln’s speech: Only write the Analytic Response: analyze and interpret at least 3 style techniques Lincoln uses in the speech (i.e., use of metaphors, word or phrase repetition, tone, organization of key ideas, etc.).
