Character Personality analysis.In this assignment, your job is to select a fictional character (e.g. from a book, movie, TV show, etc.) and, using at least 5 topics we discussed in class, analyze this character’s personality in detail. For example, you could discuss their personality traits using the Big 5 Theory, whether they are high or low in self-monitoring, how the unique culture they live in affects their personality, if you think they have a particular personality disorder, and analyze the specific Freudian defense mechanisms that they use.Most importantly, be sure to discuss each topic in detail: what that topic is and what you know about it as well as give specific examples from the book/movie/TV show that backs up your claim. If you mention that a character is extraverted, explain what extraversion is and give specific situations from the book/movie/TV show that demonstrate this character acting in an extraverted way.This is the rubric I will be using to grade your papers.
